Overview

The Großer Bühler Fastnachtsumzug 2025 paraded through the Hauptstraße on Shrove Sunday (early March) — one of the last regular editions before the 2026 anniversary year. Around 100 groups, carnival guilds from the Baden-Alemannic region, floats, and Guggemusik bands marched through the city center of the "Salamander town" of Bühl.

Regular Edition Before the Anniversary

In 2025, the Bühler Fastnachtsumzug was held as a "normal" edition before the 2026 anniversary year. As always, the organizer was the Narrhalla 1826 e.V. carnival guild, located at Eisenbahnstraße 24. The parade started at 2:11 PM in the Hauptstraße and led through the city center with grandstands and significant spectator interest.

Friendly guilds from Sasbachwalden, Gernsbach, Achern, Steinmauern, and other towns in the Rastatt district, as well as from the Black Forest, participated. The traditional costume wearers of the Narrhalla — Salamanders, witches, Bühler jester figures — formed the backbone of the parade. After the parade, the carnival society dispersed into the restaurants, the festival tent, and the squares of the city center.
