Overview

The Rheydter Spätkirmes 2025 once again brought four days of funfair atmosphere to the Mönchengladbach district of Rheydt. The Market Square and Gracht were fully occupied with rides, a beer tent, and food stalls — families, regular visitors, and weekend guests from the Dutch border region experienced classic Lower Rhine funfair culture. The 2026 edition was scheduled early for September 18-21.

The Große Rheydter Spätkirmes 2025 once again relied on the proven concept of a dual-location city-centre funfair. Rheydt Market Square and the Gracht car park were fully packed over four days — from classic carousels to spectacular thrill rides, from the beer tent with cover bands to the sweet stall for the families' children. The district once again showed why the Rheydter funfair is considered one of the largest city-centre funfairs on the Lower Rhine. The 2026 edition was scheduled early for September 18-21.
