Overview
The Greifswald Kite Festival 2025 took place on Sunday, November 2nd, on the Deponieberg. As in previous years, colorful kites flew over the Bodden panorama, a professional pilot demonstrated giant show kites, and a family program included craft stations, a bouncy castle, face painting, and a scavenger hunt. Free shuttle from ZOB. Free admission.
In sunny autumn weather, the 2025 Kite Festival once again filled the Deponieberg. Families from Greifswald and the surrounding area brought their kites or crafted new ones on-site. The professional pilot attracted attention with show kites in butterfly and penguin shapes.
The bouncy castle, face painting, active games, scavenger hunt, and quiz rounded off the family program. Food stalls provided warm drinks and snacks in the autumn weather. The free shuttle bus from the ZOB was once again in high demand.
