Overview
Looking Back at the 2025 Green City Festival
On May 18, 2025, the old town of Bad Langensalza transformed into a vibrant meeting point. A marching band kicked off the festivities with a classic, after which Mayor Matthias Reinz and Rose Queen Maxima Rang welcomed the guests at the town hall.
Market and Stages
The Green Market offered regional products, fresh plants, fragrant flowers, handmade treasures, and diverse offerings from local businesses and associations. Several stages provided music and atmosphere — including performances by Tonklang, other bands, and magicians, as well as keyboard artist Kenisha Cheyenne Weiß. Street musicians and stilt walkers added to the ambiance.
Family and Museum
Children enjoyed the carousel, craft stations, face painting, temporary tattoos, and caricaturists. The concurrently held International Museum Day offered guided tours, tower climbs, and the garden café — as well as a themed city walk "Green Makes You Healthy." The organizers thanked exhibitors, artists, helpers, and guests for a "green, colorful, beautiful" day.
