Gredinger Altstadtfest mit OpenAir

altSTADTfest 2025

On August 30 and 31, 2025, the medieval old town of Greding transformed once again into a large open-air festival mile. The City of Greding and its clubs set up two stages and numerous bars around the market square — Saturday evening became a grand Volksfest (popular festival) concert with rock, pop, and cover bands.

Sunday followed with the usual family program: "Frühschoppen" (morning pint), performances by brass bands and music groups from the region, a children's program, and the festival winding down in the afternoon. The 2025 festival continued the long tradition of Middle Franconian summer old town festivals and solidified Greding's reputation as one of the most beautiful festival locations in the Altmühltal Nature Park.
