Graach and its Vineyards

Graach on the Mosel is one of Germany's most renowned winegrowing communities. The 'Graacher Himmelreich' and 'Graacher Domprobst' sites are among the classic Grand Cru sites of the Middle Mosel and are among the most frequently mentioned addresses in international Riesling literature. The steep slopes of blue Devonian slate give the wines their characteristic minerality and freshness.

WEINZEIT in the Village Center

For two days in August, Graach's vintners open their stalls in the village center. Unlike a classic winery festival, the WEINZEIT focuses on the central festival mile: here, participating wineries present their current wines, from dry Kabinetts to noble sweet Auslesen. Food stalls complement the offering with Flammkuchen, Winzervesper (vintner's snack), and seasonal specialties.

A Festival for Riesling Lovers

The Graacher WEINZEIT appeals to lovers of fine Mosel Rieslings as well as occasional visitors. The open atmosphere allows for direct conversations with the vintners and their families. Those who want to taste several wineries in comparison will find the ideal stage here.

By Train or by Boat

Graach is conveniently located between Bernkastel-Kues and Wehlen and is easily accessible by the Mosel railway and by boat. Travel by public transport is recommended due to the wine service.
