Gotthardfest Kirchberg im Wald

The 2025 Gotthardfest followed the proven format since 1975: a four-day folk festival from Friday to Monday on the first weekend of July on the Old Sports Field in Kirchberg im Wald, centered around the 'Kirta' on the first Sunday of July. Beer tapping, brass and dance bands in the festival tent, and entertainment for all generations defined the program. As every year, the Trachtenverein, SV Kirchberg, and the Volunteer Fire Brigade shared the organization and work. The festival maintained its firm place in the folk festival calendar of the Bavarian Forest in the district of Regen.
