Overview

The 2025 edition of Gott sei Punk once again gathered the German-speaking punk scene at the Docks on Spielbudenplatz. Over ten bands on two stages, the Piy-Punkrock-Karaoke as an interactive element, and an audience from Northern Germany characterized the evening in Hamburg-St. Pauli.

2025 Review

In 2025, the festival once again relied on the proven formula: two stages at the Docks and the adjacent Prinzenbar, over ten bands from the German-speaking punk scene, and a concluding punk rock karaoke. The audience largely consisted of the established Northern German punk scene, supplemented by a younger St. Pauli crowd. Advance tickets were around €35, similar to previous years.

St. Pauli, in the Hamburg-Mitte district, has been a central hub for German-speaking punk since the 1980s. Gott sei Punk upholds this tradition with an annual, compact genre night that keeps the scene alive.
