Overview

The Goldkronach Christmas Market 2025 took place on November 30, the first Sunday of Advent, on the market square. As every year, the small Advent market, supported by associations and craftspeople, attracted visitors from Goldkronach and the surrounding region around Bayreuth and the Fichtelgebirge.

The traditional Advent Sunday in Goldkronach once again focused on a mix of regionally rooted stalls, mulled wine offerings, and musical program points in 2025. Stalls with arts and crafts, Christmas specialties, bratwurst, and gingerbread characterized the scene on the market square, with the historic town church and typical Upper Franconian townhouses in the background.

With contributions from local choirs and music clubs, as well as small activities for children, the market offered a contemplative start to Advent in one of Upper Franconia's traditional gold-mining towns.
