The Gmünder Kirchweih 2025 took place from July 31 to August 4, 2025. Five days of Kärwa on the grounds behind the town hall with beer tapping on Thursday, a brass music evening by the Georgensgmünd town band, a parade on Saturday, an art exhibition in the Schlösslein, and a festival finale with rifle shooting and fireworks on Monday.

Review of the Gmünder Kirchweih 2025

The main Kirchweih 2025 in Georgensgmünd ran for five days on the festival grounds behind the town hall. The beer tapping ceremony on Thursday and the brass music evening by the Georgensgmünd town band already attracted many guests. On Saturday, the parade with clubs, traditional costume groups, music bands, and floats thrilled spectators along the street to the festival grounds.

In parallel, the art exhibition in the Schlösslein opened, which, as every year, provided a stage for local and regional artists. The festival finale on Monday with rifle shooting and fireworks attracted visitors from the entire Franconian Lake District. Local newspapers — Nürnberger Nachrichten, Marktspiegel — reported extensively with pictures of the parade and the festival tent.
