On December 21, 2025, the market town of Thüngen hosted the GlühWeihnacht on the Planplatz. From 3 PM to 11 PM, mulled wine stalls, Christmas treats, and handicrafts created a pre-Christmas atmosphere. As usual, a concert in St. Georg's Church complemented the program. The market was a convivial meeting place for the people of Thüngen and guests from the Werntal valley shortly before the festival.
