Overview

The 28th Glindow Cherry and Brick Festival 2025 crowned Heike Runge as the Cherry Queen 2025/26. The festival once again attracted thousands of visitors from Berlin and Brandenburg to the festival grounds at Jahnufer. The stage program, parade, cherry tasting, and the collective sponsorship by all Glindow clubs ensured the usual family atmosphere.

The 28th Cherry and Brick Festival 2025 in Glindow confirmed the festival's successful format: with summer weather, thousands of visitors from the Berlin area and the Werder region flocked to Jahnufer. Heike Runge was crowned the new Cherry Queen 2025/26 and has since represented Glindow at numerous regional festivals.

The parade on Sunday, the concerts in the festival tent, and the cherry tastings shaped the festival's character. In 2025, the Glindow clubs, schools, and businesses also organized the festival together — a tradition that has been carried on unbroken since 1997.
