The 17th edition of the Glasstraßenfest 2025 was celebrated at the end of June in Frauenau's Gläserne Gärten. As every year, glassmakers from the Bavarian Glass Route gathered for a joint celebration with demonstrations, a market, music, and culinary delights. Free admission.
The Glasstraßenfest 2025 showcased the enduring vitality of the Bavarian glass art tradition. Glassmakers from Frauenau, Zwiesel, Bodenmais, Riedlhütte, Schönsee, and other stops along the Glass Route presented their works. Folk music and traditional costume performances formed the musical backdrop.
The event is part of the Eastern Bavaria Tourism Association and underscores the importance of the glassmaking craft for the identity of the Bavarian Forest each year.
