Overview
The GKA Kite-Surf World Cup Sylt 2025 took place at the end of August 2025 at Brandenburger Strand in Westerland. Six days of competition in the disciplines Wave, Strapless Freestyle, and Hydrofoil Big Air once again attracted tens of thousands of spectators to the island.
The 2025 edition offered Sylt's typical mix of wind, waves, and a complete beachfront staging. The world's best kite surfers competed for points on the GKA world rankings in front of a stadium-like backdrop, and the Beach Village in Westerland was a focal point for families and sports enthusiasts. Sylt, in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, once again confirmed its reputation as one of the best spots on the tour.
