Overview

The 2025 edition of the Giesinger Weinfest by Vino Minga opened Candidplatz in Untergiesing again in June 2025. Eleven days of open-air wine festival with curated wines from Germany, Austria, and Italy, live music, relaxed standing tables, and an urban big-city atmosphere – the young Munich wine festival format has established itself as a firm summer fixture beyond classic wine village clichés.

The 2025 edition of the Giesinger Weinfest continued the proven concept: eleven festival days at Candidplatz, an open-air format with a curated wine selection from Germany, Austria, and Italy. Standing tables and wooden crates as furniture, individual wine glass sizes, live DJ, and acoustic acts as the musical backdrop.

The 15+ curated wines – Riesling, Grüner Veltliner, Vermentino, Palatinate Rosé, Crémant – were explained by the stand hosts and the winemakers present. Table reservations for groups with consumption credit were bookable, admission was free. The organizer remained Culture Ventures GmbH under the Vino Minga label.
