Overview
The 8th GEspaña edition took place in May-June 2025 in Gelsenkirchen's city center. The City Initiative Gelsenkirchen and the city continued the Spanish festival format with 4 locations, 2 Sparkassen stages, and a Flamenco program – establishing it as a fixture in the NRW summer calendar.
In 2025, GEspaña once again attracted a broad audience from the Ruhr area, Münsterland, and even the Netherlands. Andalusian city atmosphere in the Ruhr region.
