Edition 2025 — GeSoFe Haarzopf
The 2025 GeSoFe brought the neighbourhood together in Bürgerpark Haarzopf in July. Clubs, initiatives, and residents from Haarzopf and Fulerum put together a diverse programme of live music, children's activities, and culinary offerings — a summer festival tradition in southern Essen, organised by the local Residents' Association.
In 2025, the GeSoFe confirmed its reputation as a family-friendly neighbourhood gathering. Despite the summer date, many residents came together over several hours — enjoying coffee, cake, live music, and games. The Bürgerpark, nestled in the quiet residential area of Haarzopf, provided the ideal setting.
The Essen-Haarzopf/Fulerum Residents' Association also used the occasion to provide information about ongoing association projects and new initiatives in the district — a part of its self-image as a representative of the neighbourhood's interests.
