Overview
The 2nd edition of the Gerolzhöfer Summer Opening in June 2025 confirmed the concept of tribute concerts during the week and a free open-air festival on Saturday. At the Gerolzhofen Spitalgarten, international tribute acts performed, a festival day brought together several bands on two stages, and the acoustic closing evening rounded off the program.
2025 Season – The Second Edition
After its premiere in 2024, the Gerolzhöfer Summer Opening established its profile in 2025 as the season opener in the Franconian Steigerwald. Organizer GEO kommunikativ continued the proven model of three tribute concerts and a free Saturday at the Spitalgarten.
The festival was thus one of the first major open-air events of the year in the Schweinfurt district and the Franconian wine region, paving the way for the now-following 3rd edition in 2026.
