Overview

The Heimat- und Wiesenfest 2025 in Geroldsgrün combined the tried and tested with new accents. For the first time, the classic rock cover band Granny’s Pearl performed in the festival tent, and young athletes from TSV Dürrenwaid also made their debut. Mayor Stefan Münch opened the festivities with the traditional beer tapping ceremony.

At the Geroldsgrüner Wiesenfest 2025, the organizers focused on a mix of the familiar and the new. The "Kaffeekränzle" with a children's program and a performance by the youth fire department "Geroldsgrüner Feuerwehrler" kicked off the festivities. Mayor Stefan Münch performed the beer tapping ceremony, officially opening the festival tent.

As a musical premiere, the classic rock cover band Granny’s Pearl took the stage in the evening. Young athletes from TSV Dürrenwaid also made their first appearance at the Wiesenfest in 2025. The grand parade on Sunday, featuring the kindergarten, the Lothar-von-Faber elementary school, and all the clubs, remained, as usual, the visual centerpiece of the festival.
