In 2025, the Klockenhagen Open-Air Museum also participated on Whit Monday, June 9, in German Mill Day. The historic post mill was open for visits all day, and guided tours explained the old miller's craft.

The 2025 edition followed the proven concept: an event day centered around the historic post mill in the Klockenhagen museum village.

As in previous years, the mill could be visited all day; in windy conditions, the sails turned, and tours conveyed the technology and history of the windmill. German Mill Day confirmed its place in the museum's event program.
