Overview

The 24th edition of the German-French Easter Market once again attracted several thousand visitors to the European Friendship Bridge on Palm Sunday 2025. Spring-like temperatures, around 100 stalls, and the open customs museum ensured a successful start to the season in the Bliesgau.

On April 13, 2025, the market traditionally opened its gates at 10 a.m. Stalls from Saarland, the Palatinate, and Lorraine presented Easter decorations, arts and crafts, and specialities on both sides of the Blies. The customs museum was open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., and local clubs provided catering. The market once again confirmed its reputation as the most important cross-border Easter market in the region.

Programme

The schedule followed the proven pattern: market opening at 10 a.m., customs museum from 12 p.m., continuous catering by clubs and restaurateurs from Habkirchen and Frauenberg, musical contributions by regional clubs, market end at 6 p.m.
