Edition 2025 — DM Canoe Sprint Beetzsee

The 2025 season on the Beetzsee regatta course concluded with a record performance: 4,500 participants at the Dragon Boat World Championships and several top national competitions made Brandenburg an der Havel once again the most important location for canoe and rowing sports in Germany.

The Beetzsee 2025 season was recorded by the city and the regatta club as a record season. The Dragon Boat World Championships alone brought together 4,500 participants from all over the world. In addition, there were several top national competitions, youth championships, and para events.

Mayor Steffen Scheller and Regatta Director Uwe Philipp subsequently announced that they would continue with an investment initiative for the next generation on the Beetzsee course – with the aim of further expanding both top-level sport and youth development.
