Overview

The 44th edition of the Generali Berlin Half Marathon took place in April 2025 with over 35,000 participants. Starting on Straße des 17. Juni, finishing in front of the Brandenburg Gate. Multiple competitions – main run, wheelchair, handbike, and inline skaters – on the classic 21.0975 km course through Berlin-Mitte.

The 44th edition in 2025 confirmed the Berlin Half Marathon's position as one of the largest and fastest half marathons in the world. The course through Berlin's historic center – Tiergarten, Unter den Linden, Schlossplatz, Brandenburg Gate – is flat and fast; personal bests are regularly achieved here.

Organizer SCC EVENTS, as every year, organized an integrated format with competitions for runners, wheelchair athletes, handbikes, and inline skaters. Berlin's public transport operator BVG increased its services, and large parts of the city center were closed to car traffic from the early morning hours.
