Edition 2025 — Langendreer Community Festival
The 2025 edition brought neighbors and the church community together on a summer weekend around the Michaelkirche Langendreer. A barbecue station, coffee and cake, a fries stand, and a packed children's program with a bouncy castle, face painting, and stick bread characterized the weekend. The confirmation group, brass band, and volunteers supported the festival and raised donations for the community and diaconal work.
The 2025 edition followed the proven parish festival format. Opening with a devotion in the Michaelkirche, barbecue and snack stations, a coffee and cake buffet, and a children's program outdoors.
The brass band and the children's choir performed on both days, the confirmation group managed game stations, and the family service on Sunday attracted many families. As every year, the proceeds went to the community and diaconal work in Bochum-Langendreer.
