Overview
The 3rd Ghost Day at Posterstein Castle 2025 once again attracted numerous families and horror enthusiasts to the historic moated castle in Altenburger Land. The daytime family program and the evening spooky reading in the council chamber were considered a great success by the museum.
The 2025 edition continued the proven dual format: in the afternoon, families solved puzzles throughout the castle and followed the Halloween trail to Nöbdenitz, while in the evening, the audience filled the historic courtroom for the spooky reading. The Posterstein Castle Museum once again confirmed its reputation as one of the most vibrant small museums in East Thuringia — an example of how historical education can work with atmosphere and genre expertise for a broad audience.
