Overview

The 19th edition of the Geiselbach Christmas Market took place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in cold but dry weather in the rectory garden. The music association opened the evening, the kindergarten children performed Advent songs, and St. Nicholas, as usual, brought small packages for the youngest visitors. The Advent exhibition in the town hall attracted many strollers.

The 2025 edition seamlessly continued the tradition of previous years. The Geiselbach Music Association opened the market in the late afternoon with Christmas melodies, followed by a performance by the kindergarten children. St. Nicholas appeared around 5 p.m. and distributed small gift bags to the youngest attendees.

At the sales stands, local clubs provided bratwurst, mulled wine, cookies, and children's punch. The Advent exhibition in the town hall, featuring works by local craftspeople, complemented the culinary offerings with regional handicrafts. Despite the winter temperatures, the event remained well-attended until the late evening.
