Overview
In 2025, SV Geiersthal 1966 e.V. once again invited guests to the Geiersthaler Wald- und Sportfest, its 56th edition, at Pentecost on the club's own sports grounds. Over the Pentecost weekend, the festival tent, brass band music, hearty Lower Bavarian delicacies, and freshly tapped beer provided a proper Volksfest atmosphere. Pentecost Monday traditionally concluded with a special program item. The festival reaffirmed its place as one of the social highlights in the annual calendar of the municipality of Geiersthal in the Regen district and in the Arberland festival region.
