Edition 2025 — Gebersdorfer Kärwa
In 2025, Gebersdorf also celebrated its traditional summer Kärwa in the festival tent. Four days of festivities with the Kärwa opening, Kärwa parade, raising of the Kärwabaum, tent service, Betzentanz, and fireworks confirmed the strong presence of this festival in Nuremberg's Kirchweih calendar.
The Gebersdorfer Kärwa 2025 continued the decades-long tradition of the western Nuremberg district Kärwa. The Gebersdorfer Kärwa e.V. hosted four days of festivities, including a beer tapping, Kärwa parade, money bag washing, raising of the Kärwabaum, live music, a tent service, and the Betzentanz by the young Kärwa boys and girls. Gebersdorf thus once again joined the approximately 25 Kirchweihen that characterize the Nuremberg city area between April and September.
