Overview
In 2025, the Gautrachtenfest of the Upper Lechgau Association was hosted by another member club of the association before the festival is held in Marktoberdorf in 2026. In the 2025 season as well, the star march, heritage evening, and parade characterized the event's format.
The Upper Lechgau Association rotates the hosting of its Gaufest among its member clubs in the region between the Lech and Wertach rivers. The program follows a well-established structure of a star march, a heritage evening with traditional costume clubs, a festival service, and a grand parade.
In 2025, the Gaufest was again a highlight in the Allgäu club calendar, continuing the long tradition of internal association gatherings before Marktoberdorf takes its turn as host in 2026.
