Edition 2025 — Gauschützentag Main-Spessart
The 72nd Gauschützentag of the Schützengau Main-Spessart took place on March 29, 2025, in Schimborn, bringing together clubs, flag delegations, and delegates from the entire Schützengau in the late afternoon. As is traditional, the proceedings included a commemoration of the fallen, a church service, and the delegate assembly.
The 2025 Gauschützentag was held on March 29 in Schimborn (Mömbris municipality, Aschaffenburg district). The event ran from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and followed the traditional format of the Schützengau Main-Spessart: a ceremonial commemoration of the fallen, a local church service, and a delegate assembly with honors and reports.
The Gau is a member of the Bavarian Sports Shooters' Association (BSSB) and the German Shooters' Association (DSB) and represents the organized shooting clubs in the Bavarian Untermain region.
