The 32nd Gassensensationen took place over four days in July 2025, as usual, in Heppenheim's old town. International companies, a children's programme in the Kastanienhof, free admission – thousands of visitors in the small town on the Bergstraße.
The 32nd edition followed the established hat festival concept with performances in the alleys around the market square, a parallel children's programme in the Kastanienhof, and large square productions late in the evening. The festival's photo and video archive documents the editions from 2016–2025.
Programme
Four festival days featuring acrobatics, comedy, musical theatre, walking acts, and a family programme. Companies from Europe and overseas perform in the alleys of the old town.
