The GartenKultur-Musikfestival is a concert series that has existed since 2003, turning rural venues in Northwest Germany into stages. Castle courtyards, farms, parks, and gardens between the Weser and Ems rivers are used as performance spaces during the summer months. Großenkneten has been a reliable venue for many years and participates with concerts in the Civic Park.

With its meadows, trees, and seating areas, the Großenkneten Civic Park offers an ideal setting for open-air concerts. A Reliable Summer Date

The festival traditionally takes place in midsummer and, with its musical focus, complements other Großenkneten summer events such as SpielART and the club festivals. It attracts an audience from the municipality as well as from the surrounding towns of Wardenburg, Wildeshausen, Hatten, and Garrel.
