Edition 2025 — Ganter Oktoberfest
The 11th edition of the Ganter Oktoberfest took place in late September / early October 2025 on the brewery grounds in Freiburg-Herdern. Ten festival days daily from 5 PM to 11 PM, with a festival tent, beer garden, wine bar, and the specially brewed Ganter Festbier. Live music from various bands and the traditional Wiesn atmosphere characterized the festival — Freiburg's answer to the Bavarian Wiesn has established itself since 2014 as a firm summer/autumn tradition in the city.
2025 — Wiesn in Freiburg-Herdern
In 2025, the Ganter Oktoberfest also ran for ten days as usual in the brewery courtyard. The festival tent with live music, the outdoor beer garden, and the wine bar for the Baden alternative to the Maß — the three areas formed the proven setting. Specially brewed Ganter Festbier, party bands, Vesperer tables, and VIP packages: The Freiburg Wiesn once again proved to be a well-functioning mix of Bavarian staging and Baden individuality. Traditional attire welcome, a visible family presence — the Wiesn in Freiburg is no longer just a bachelor party.
