Dancing in the Princely Ballroom
The ballroom of Bückeburg Castle is one of the most impressive historical interiors in Lower Saxony. High ceilings, magnificent wall and ceiling decorations, crystal chandeliers, and the knowledge of the rooms' history lend a special dignity to every occasion held in the ballroom. The Fürstenball uses this unique setting for an evening of dancing, reminiscent of the grand balls of the 19th century in its decor and atmosphere.
Third Edition in 2026
With the 2026 edition, the Fürstenball is establishing itself as a recurring event. Following the first two editions, which received positive feedback, Finest Events GbR is organizing the ball again in 2026 in conjunction with the Princely Schaumburg-Lippe Court Chamber. The ball lasts for two evenings – Friday and Saturday – allowing both day guests from the region and overnight guests to attend.
Program and Schedule
A renowned dance orchestra will be responsible for the musical entertainment. Viennese waltzes, standard dances, Latin American dances, and a sophisticated dance program form the core of the evening. The catering is tailored to a high standard; a gala dinner, cold buffets, champagne, and cocktails complement the dancing offerings. Guests are expected in evening attire: evening gowns for ladies, tuxedos or dark suits for gentlemen.
Tickets and Information
Tickets for the Fürstenball are sold through the castle's official ticket platform. Quotas are limited due to the spatial capacity of the ballroom; early booking is recommended. The organizer will communicate current information about the artists, the menu, and the dress code on the website.
