The Fürst Carl Bierfest 2025 took place as usual in the courtyard of the Ellingen Castle Brewery. Four days of freshly tapped brewery specialties, Franconian delicacies, and live music in the baroque courtyard – a summer event that attracts Franconian beer lovers from the entire Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district every year.

Proven Beer Festival Format

In 2025, the Fürst Carl Castle Brewery once again relied on the proven concept of its beer festival: baroque setting, in-house beer specialties, Franconian cuisine, and live music. As always, the courtyard offered an extraordinary atmosphere that sets the festival apart from ordinary brewery festivals.

Brewery with Princely Tradition

The combination of castle and brewery makes Ellingen unique in Franconian brewing. While other castle breweries have long since moved out of their historic buildings, Fürst Carl adheres to the baroque substance – the beer festival is a showcase and highlight of this connection.
