Overview
The 19th Fürstenwalder Sommermusiken took place in July 2025 in St. Mary's Cathedral — as usual, with free admission and donations. The Cathedral Choir continued the long-standing concert tradition and prepared for the 2026 anniversary edition.
The 2025 edition followed the established rhythm of the series: a summer concert with classical church music in the cathedral, organized by the Cathedral Choir of the Protestant Parish Region Fürstenwalde/Spree. The voluntary collection at the exit, as always, supported the parish's church music activities. The cathedral — one of Brandenburg's most significant Gothic sacred buildings — once again provided the fitting setting for sophisticated programs at the intersection of concert and devotion.
