Overview
The 2025 Frühjahrskirmes ran from April 11th to 13th on the Altenessen market square. Highlights included the Karib.Coaster, classic children's carousels, duck fishing, and the full culinary offering (crêpes, fries, candied almonds, chocolate-covered fruits). Sunday featured an open shopping Sunday from 1 PM to 6 PM.
In 2025, the funfair opened on Friday from 3 PM and on weekend days from 12 PM. Families from Altenessen and Nordessen came in large numbers; the Karib.Coaster was among the most popular rides. There was no fireworks display in the 2025 program. The open shopping Sunday combined with the funfair made Sunday the busiest day again.
