2025 Frühjahrskirmes

The 2025 Frühjahrskirmes followed the proven format, taking place on a weekend in May in the central area of Oer-Erkenschwick. The traditional mix of showmen, including rides, food stalls, and game booths, enlivened the Kirmes grounds for three days and attracted a diverse audience from the mid-sized city in Vest Recklinghausen and the surrounding communities of the northern Ruhr area.

The city of Oer-Erkenschwick, as the organizer, once again used the Frühjahrskirmes to mark one of the annual local festival dates that, today, carry the profile of the region once shaped by mining through community life and continuous tradition.
