Overview
The 2025 Festival am Deich in Friedrichskoog was the predecessor event to the "FRIEDRICHSKOOG KANN Meer!" town festival. Over four days, the festival transformed the dike area and beach into a performance stage with live music, family events, and beach atmosphere on the North Sea.
In 2025, the Festival am Deich celebrated its 19th anniversary. Concerts on the dike, family events, and the beach setting made the date a firm fixture in the summer calendar for Friedrichskoog and the Dithmarschen district.
The positive reception and the preparations for the comprehensively renovated Trischendiek beach complemented the plans for the 20th-anniversary edition in 2026 – which now, under the new name "FRIEDRICHSKOOG KANN Meer!", combines the town festival and the beach opening.
