Overview

In 2025, the Friedberger Volks- und Heimatfest once again attracted visitors from Friedberg, Augsburg, and the entire region for ten days in August. The parade, beer tapping, the Binswanger Festzelt with live music, and a wide range of rides characterized the festival, as in every year.

The Friedberger Volksfest has maintained its proven format for decades: the traditional parade from Marienplatz to the festival grounds with a ceremonial opening and beer tapping, followed by ten days of festival activities. In the Binswanger Festzelt, live bands created a great atmosphere, while rides and stalls lined the festival grounds.

As one of the leading folk festivals in Swabia, the festival has combined local heritage and conviviality since 1928 — supported by the volunteer work of Verkehrsverein Friedberg e.V.

Prices
