Overview

In 2025, Frickenhausen am Main once again celebrated its traditional wine festival over an August weekend from Friday to Monday on the festival grounds by the Main river. Franconian wine, the opening by Markgraf Babenberg, and the concluding Kesselfleischessen characterized the four-day festival in front of the medieval town wall.

The Frickenhausen Wine Festival 2025 continued the long-standing tradition of the four-day wine festival. From Friday to Monday, locals and guests celebrated on the festival grounds by the Main river, against the backdrop of the preserved town fortifications.

As every year, Markgraf Babenberg, the symbolic figure of the wine community, opened the festival. Frühschoppen on Sunday and the traditional Kesselfleischessen on Monday evening were among the fixed components. The Franconian wines from local vintners once again made the 2025 edition a meeting point for wine lovers from the region.
