Overview

The French Wine Festival Kleiningersheim has established itself in recent years as a German-French summer weekend in the Ludwigsburg district. In 2025, the festival also took place at the festival grounds of the Kleiningersheim community center, organized by Franck Bento with wines from several French regions and specialties from the cuisine of our neighboring country.

A Well-Rehearsed German-French Tradition

In past summer editions, the French Wine Festival Kleiningersheim has become a reliable date in the event calendar of the municipality of Ingersheim. Franck Bento, based in Ingersheim, has developed the format as a personal project: a piece of France on the Neckar, deliberately relaxed and without a market atmosphere.

The audience comes from the entire Ludwigsburg–Bietigheim region, often also from Stuttgart and Heilbronn. Those who love Swabian wine and fancy the French contrast will find a light Bordeaux, a Côtes du Rhône, or an Alsatian Weißburgunder here for a weekend — combined with Flammkuchen, cheese, and baguette.
