Overview

In the 2025 Advent season, the Initiative Sozialeres Buchholz once again kept alive the tradition of what it describes as Berlin's smallest Christmas market. A single Advent afternoon on the "Franz B." adventure playground in Blankenfelderstraße, featuring handmade stalls, mulled wine, children's activities, and musical contributions from the neighbourhood. Free admission and run on a voluntary basis.

In the 2025 Advent season, the Französisch Buchholzer Weihnachtsmarkt once again opened its doors for an afternoon on the "Franz B." playground in Blankenfelderstraße.

As in previous years, voluntary commitment, a deliberately small selection of stalls, play opportunities for children, and neighbourhood interaction characterised the afternoon. The market eschewed any commercial setup, sticking to its concept as a "market of the senses" in the far north of Pankow.
