Overview
The Freiraum Open Air 2025 took place in July at the Waldbühne Trappenkamp. A long techno night with a curated lineup of North German DJs and live acts confirmed the festival's firm place in the Schleswig-Holstein electronic music calendar.
The 2025 edition continued the concept of the crew around Innovate Records: a 360-degree stage in the forest, regional and supra-regional DJs, and accessible admission prices. The Waldbühne Trappenkamp in the Segeberg district is a relatively unusual venue for techno — but the format has established itself as a reliable date for the Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg scene.
The success in 2025 paved the way for the 2026 repeat with a similar, but slightly renewed lineup.
