Freiluftkino Insel am Tempelhofer Feld

The 2025 season ran from May to early October on the familiar meadow at the RAW grounds, between the old railway workshops in Friedrichshain. The program was, as always, arthouse-oriented: indie premieres, festival revivals, classics, occasional silent film specials.

Regular fans had also announced the season as a "farewell season" — the move to Atelier Gardens was announced in the fall of 2025 and met with mixed reactions. The new location promises more professional infrastructure, but the old charm of the RAW grounds remains irreplaceable. 2025 was thus a nostalgic closing chapter for a Berlin cinema era.
