Overview

The 2025 season of Freiluftkino im Rosengarten ran from mid-May to the end of September. As in previous years, it was always on Tuesdays, always free (donations welcome), with a curated program of film classics, arthouse productions, documentaries, and films from the Amnesty International program. Venue: Kulturpavillon in Weinbergspark, Berlin-Mitte.

In 2025, the Rosengarten cultural pavilion once again hosted a summer season of open-air cinema amidst the hedges and rose bushes of Weinbergspark. The weekly program, as usual, was announced at short notice on the pavilion's social media channels – a preserved program overview for 2025 is not currently publicly available.

The 2025 summer season, as always, was weather-dependent – individual dates were canceled due to rain, contributing to the curated and personal feel of the program. The format clearly differs from the city's large commercial open-air cinemas (Friedrichshain, Kreuzberg, Hasenheide): one evening per week, free admission, intimate setting. The 2025 season laid the groundwork for the upcoming 2026 season, which is scheduled to open on May 19, 2026.
