Overview

The Freiburger Herbstmess' 2025 took place from October 17 to 27, 2025, on the Neuen Messplatz, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors from Breisgau, Alsace, and the Swiss border region over ten days. Over 100 showmen with rides, food, and game stalls characterized the fairgrounds. Family Day, live music in the festival tent, and a grand finale firework display were once again part of the regular program.

Herbstmess' 2025

The 2025 edition continued the tradition: 11 days of funfair with over 100 showmen, a festival tent program on weekends, Family Day with reduced prices, and a grand finale firework display on the last evening. The mild autumn weather led to an unusually strong visitor turnout, especially on weekends and during Family Day.

Regional cover bands performed in the festival tent, while outside, mulled wine stalls, Magenbrot, and autumnal specialties created the atmosphere. The closing firework display on Monday evening attracted thousands of visitors to the fairgrounds.
