The 12th edition in 2025 already showed the Freak Valley Festival in top form. Three days of Heavy Psych, Stoner, and Doom at the AWO grounds in Netphen-Deuz gathered the international underground scene. With a typically curated lineup of Scandinavian, British, and American heavy bands, the festival continued its "no Fillers, just Killers" line and confirmed its reputation as a must-attend German event for deep guitar music. The success paved the way for the 13th edition in 2026, which also sold out within weeks.
The 12th edition of the Freak Valley Festival in June 2025 confirmed the cult status of the heavy underground event in Siegerland. At the AWO grounds in Netphen-Deuz, international Stoner, Doom, Sludge, and Psych acts played to 1,500 heavy aficionados from all over Europe. Camping, short distances, curated booking — the festival concept remained reliably unchanged. The positive response led directly to the 13th edition in 2026 from June 4th to 6th.
