Edition 2025 — Franken-Bike-Marathon
The 2025 Franken-Bike-Marathon once again gathered hundreds of mountain bikers at the FC Trieb sports grounds in Lichtenfels-Trieb. Over the three established distances, they tackled the challenging trails and forest paths of the Franconian Switzerland. RVC Trieb welcomed several hundred participants, confirming the race's reputation as one of the region's most popular MTB marathons.
The 2025 edition of the Franken-Bike-Marathon, as usual, offered three distances — short, medium, and long — through the trails and forests of the Franconian Switzerland. Several hundred bikers gathered at the FC Trieb sports grounds in Lichtenfels-Trieb, which traditionally serves as the start, finish, and festival area. The organizing RVC Trieb e.V. welcomed a large field of participants. The marathon was once again embedded in a bike festival weekend with the Enduro-One race, a biker party, and award ceremonies. The mix of rustic Franconian trails and flowing sections once again made the race a highlight of the Upper Franconian mountain bike calendar.
