Overview
The 2025 Franconian Sausage Summit once again brought together butcher shops from Middle, Upper, and Lower Franconia in Pegnitz's Wiesweiherpark. As every year, an expert jury of butchers, restaurateurs, and star chefs anonymously judged classic and creative sausages based on points.
The title of 'Sausage King' was won by the Frischecenter Wagner butcher shop from Coburg — they will compete in 2026 as defending champions. Around the competition, there were sausage variations from the grill, Franconian specialties, and live music with free admission.
